What it is: ML-677 is a long-acting, orally active mimic of the growth hormone releasing peptide (GHRP). It is similar to GHRP-6 in that it is an agonist of the ghrelin receptor.
What it does: MK-677 stimulates the release of growth hormone via the pituitary/hypothalamic receptor pathway. This is a different pathway than the growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor (GHRHR) pathway (ie what ipamorelin and sermorelin use). It specifically helps to decrease the decline of fat free mass (protein and muscle) and improve the reduction of abdominal fat.
Benefits: Increases IGF-1 and growth hormone release, helps to reverse diet induced protein catabolism, promotes metabolism, stimulates bone regrowth and has anti-inflammatory effects.
